Our favourite way to do this is to host presentations in schools, universities, conferences, shows, TV shows and film. We’ve become very well acquainted with the captivating British stone so there’s not much we don’t know about Whitby Jet.
Inspirational Talks
It’s important for us to inspire a new generation as well as reigniting people’s interest in the millions of years old gem. We want to keep the love of Whitby Jet alive with more and more people knowing every detail about the British stone. Designing, handcrafting and talking about Whitby Jet is what we do best, so if you’re looking for a talk in your local area, education establishment or country show you’ve come to the right place. We travel all over the UK to give presentations. We’ve even been known to fly across the globe.
The Presentation
We’re always researching and finding out new facts ourselves to include in our talks. Whether that’s discovering a new antique piece of Whitby Jet or an interesting unknown fact from the stones vivid history. Our presentation always takes a similar layout. However, we do change when necessary to keep the talk relevant.

- You’ll find out where to hunt for Jet and how to spot copycats.
- We share how we handcraft exquisite pieces of Whitby Jet jewellery.

- We offer talks too on the other gems that we specialise in. Baltic Amber, Derbyshire Blue John and Arizona Turquoise are amongst the stones that we work with alongside Whitby Jet.

Spot us at Country Fairs and Shows
We regularly attend country fairs and shows around the North of England setting up a stand filled with our exquisite jewellery collection. We take a lot of designs with us to showcase what we have to offer. It’s another opportunity for us to meet new people and introduce them to our Whitby Jet pieces.
